Vital Moreira, cabeça de lista do Partido Socialista às próximas eleições europeias, participa hoje numa sessão pública destinada ao debate sobre o Tratado de Lisboa e as suas implicações laborais e sociais, que decorre no auditório dos Paços do Concelho, em Odivelas, às 21h00.

Vital moreira pode ser um excelente candidato com muito para lutar e sabendo fazê-lo.
Muito embora não esteja própriamente na esfera de simpatias de muitos partidos á esquerda e á direita cá em portugal julgo que é homem para pôr os interesses deste país é frente de quaisquer tentações que ataques de outros possam tentar provocar.
Esperemos que as próximas eleições decidam quem vai vencer mas se for vital moreira não ficaremos mal servidos , bem antes pelo contrário apesar das vozes em contrário.
PES activists Portugal had the opportunity to attend the Portuguese Socialist Party Congress. This Congress was held in Espinho this weekend, in the north of Portugal, and we had the pleasure of sharing a stand with the PES. We printed some materials (namely the cubes in Portuguese) and it was with joy that we saw vast interest in our work, in the European dimension of politics and in the next European campaign. We agree. The Congress was generally dominated by internal politics. And that was expected, as 2009 will be the «year of all elections». Nevertheless, on Saturday the Portuguese Socialist Party took the opportunity to announce his top candidate for the European Elections. And, after some speculation, the Portuguese Socialist party announced Vital Moreira as the next head of the list for the Europarliament elections, next June. After some days of speculation, the name of Vital Moreira was surprising only because his name was not regurarly mentioned by the Portuguese media, unlike Luis Amado, Freitas do Amaral
